Student Ministry

At E3, we believe that young people are an essential part of our church community. Students—whether in junior high or high school—can and should be an example of faith to people of all ages. E3’s J-Hi and Senior High ministries meet at different times, but are both led by Dan Durrenberger and a team of volunteers. You can contact Dan here.

E3 J-Hi (grades 5-8) exists to make, mature, and mobilize fully devoted followers of Christ… who just happen to be in middle school.

Our J-Hi experience begins every Sunday morning at both 9 and 11AM when we participate in musical worship alongside the rest of the community. Students are dismissed during the community greeting time to head down “the boardwalk” to the Student Ministry Room for a time of games, teaching, and discussion geared specifically for their age group and life stage. Our curriculum focuses on cultivating wonder, discovery and passion all centered on helping students discover more about God, themselves, and the world that they are called to serve.

Senior High

Senior High (grades 9-12) meets on Wednesday nights from 6-8PM in the Student Ministry room. We focus on a “Growth Group” environment, which is a time and space specifically oriented so that high school students can engage with their faith in a unique teenage context. During this time, students can connect and build relationships with their peers and our dedicated student ministry leaders on issues of building and living out faith in high school.
