E3’s MISSION is to make fully devoted disciples (or followers) of Christ.

E3’s VISION is to be an irresistible community of radically transformed disciples who dwell at the intersection of deep faith, authentic community and emerging culture.

  • Growth
  • Humility
  • Intentional Design

God is a God of intentional design. Everything He creates Is intentional and for a purpose.

  • Worship
  • Groups
  • Service

Sometimes, this requires us to say NO to a good thing so that we can say YES to a great thing.

Romans 12:4-8 (NLT)
Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you.  If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well.  If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
Within the people of God, no one does everything.

The community lives and serves in unity because they share the same purpose and understand their specific role.

We, together form Christ’s body in the world in a way that no single individual could alone.

What have you learned about your own spiritual giftings and how have you used them in your life?

Have you ever experienced what it’s like to work outside of those giftings?

What do think about E3’s posture of sometimes saying NO to good things so that we can say YES to great things?  Have you experienced that in your own life and how did that turn out?

What gives you life?  What makes your heart beat fast? Are you using that gift to further God’s Kingdom?
