Read 2 Corinthians 3:7-11. Paul compares & contrasts the Old Testament Law with the teachings of Jesus & ministry of the Spirit.
Why do you think Paul considers one to be “transitory” while the other “lasts”?
Next, read 2 Corinthians 3:12-18.
How does Christ “unveil” the commands of God & what they were intended to do to & for us?
What does it mean to have a “veil covering our hearts”?
How does Christ & the Spirit bring freedom in the context of this veil?
Paul closes by claiming that, drawing near to the Lord & contemplating His glory, we can experience transformation into God’s Image with ever-increasing glory.
What do you think Paul means by this? How does it relate to the previous passage?
