Local Outreach

We believe lost people matter to God, and so we do everything we can to reach them with the good news about Jesus Christ. For the Church is not just a building, but a revolution! A revolution of people going out into the world to be a difference!
Currently we have 2 local facets of this vision. We incorporate Service into our Outreach to show love tangibly and earn the relational trust of those we minister to and live this out withn two different ministries.
The first is Serve Tallahassee which is an organization that partners with Second Harvest to distribute food donations for local families in need throughout the Frenchtown neighborhood of Tallahassee. Each 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month volunteers deliver food to 71 families in this neighborhood. We serve them, share our love with them, pray with them and care for them. If you are interested in making food donations to this organization, you can drop non-perishable food items off E3 Mahan or drop it off at RedEye Midtown.
The second is by frequenting the RedEye Midtown - our non-profit coffee shop in midtown Tallahassee. The RedEye is open Monday - Saturday from 630am - 10pm and serves fair-trade, organic coffee as a partner with Equal Exchange. All proceeds go to provide financial resources for Serve Tallahassee as well as our Global Outreach in Guatemala. The RedEye also serves as a great forum to engage the community with our faith and build a strong reputation of grace and charity in our home town.
