Eric and his family joined Element3's community and staff in August 2006. His most visible job at E3 is to lead musical worship on a week-to-week basis, which also includes mentoring and shepherding E3’s musicians, as well as coordinating aspects of its tech and creative teams. At times he also does a lot of leadership and pastoral activities around E3, especially related to staff and church retreats ("advances", in E3-speak). He considers himself hard-wired as a "pastor" with a passion to help people move towards health and wholeness, especially in light of the revelation of God's love. When he’s not doing that, he really enjoys watching movies with his wife, playing with their two kids (Emily and Levi), and reading... LOTS of reading (Leon County Public Library LOVES fining him on a regular basis): history, historical fiction, theology (!), some fantasy.
